Dionte Gurley
Dionte Gurley, 31, died on February 18, 2025, at the Cummins Unit state prison in Grady, Arkansas, where he was held. The Arkansas State Police said ADC staff found him in a physical altercation with another person held at the unit after a reported disturbance, and that he was pronounced dead about thirty minutes after being taken to the unit's infirmary. The state police is investigating at the request of the Arkansas Division of Correction, and the cause and manner of death are pending state crime lab results. The Lincoln County Coroner is also listed among those involved.
