Dillon Teague
Dillon Teague, 29, died on August 3, 2022, while held at the Gaston County Jail in North Carolina, where he had been held since July 30, 2022. The Gaston Gazette reported that he collapsed while being wheeled to the jail's medical unit. An autopsy report found that he died of methamphetamine toxicity. A later state investigation found that guards were not checking on people held at the jail as often as required, including in his block on the day he died.
