Diana Lynn Eldredge
Diana Eldredge, 49, was taken to Munroe Regional Medical Center in critical condition after an attempted suicide at the Marion County Jail, and died there, according to a spokesman for the Marion County Sheriff's Office. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the death. A later Ocala Star-Banner report, published in November 2018, said Diana Lynn Eldredge, 50, of Fruitland Park had been held at the jail since February, was taken to a local hospital in May, and died there. That report describes the death as an apparent suicide, with full details not yet released while the investigation continues.
