DeWayne Chatt, 39, died in his cell at the Crittenden County Jail in Arkansas on April 24, 2008, shortly after being taken there in the early hours of that Thursday. Officials said he may have been Tased up to five times by West Memphis police during an arrest earlier that night, before he was brought to the jail. The Crittenden County Sheriff's Department is investigating his death, his body was sent for autopsy, and no cause of death has been reported.
