Devorriss Haynes, 28, died at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital while in the custody of the Lee County Jail in Leesburg, Georgia. The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has opened an investigation, and an autopsy by the GBI Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending that autopsy.
