Deshawn Theotis Williams
Deshawn Theotis Williams, 39, was a former North Charleston resident. He was found injured at Evans Correctional Institution in Bennettsville on September 9, 2020, and taken away for medical treatment, dying the following day. The South Carolina Department of Corrections said the state prison system's policing service is investigating his death as a homicide based on preliminary information.
