Derek John Sweere, 41, of Perham, Minnesota, died at the Otter Tail County Jail in Fergus Falls. Jail staff found him unresponsive in his cell during routine checks late on Friday, October 16, 2020, and he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on October 17.
