Died in jail or a lockup
Derek Lamar Bell
Derek Lamar Bell, 32, of Comer, died on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the Madison County Jail in Georgia. He had been placed in a holding cell to await booking, and officials said he was found unconscious about two hours later. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation sent his body to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy, and an agency agent said there were no indications of foul play. The cause and manner of death were still pending the autopsy results.
