Dennis Matthews, 35, died on November 1, 2022, while held at the Missouri Eastern Correctional Center in Pacific, Missouri. He was pronounced dead at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. The Missouri Department of Corrections said an autopsy will be conducted, and its statement did not explain the circumstances of his death.
