Denise Lumpkin Marshall
Denise Lumpkin Marshall, 60, died in her cell at the Hardin County Jail in Texas in late May 2025; the Texas Office of the Attorney General's custodial death report gives the date as May 28. Sheriff Mark Davis and Justice of the Peace Rod Ousley said there were no signs of foul play. An autopsy was ordered, toxicology results were not expected for weeks, and the Texas Rangers and the sheriff's office are investigating the death.
