Denise Isaacs died while being transported to Florida by a private prisoner transport company, after she had been held in a Kentucky jail awaiting transfer. According to the account, she reportedly suffered hallucinations and told staff she had not received her psychiatric medication. Officers found her unconscious during a meal stop near Miami, and medical help arrived too late to save her.
