Demarcus Kerr
Demarcus Kerr was held at the Shelby County Corrections facility in Memphis, Tennessee, when he was found unresponsive there on May 8, 2026. He was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital, where he died on May 10. Shelby County spokesperson Kelly Roberts said the cause of death was unknown medical reasons and that an autopsy will determine the cause and manner. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is handling any investigation into the death.
