Demarco Washington
Demarco Washington, 35, of Mehlville in south St. Louis County, died in September 2022 at South Central Correctional Center in Licking, where he was held in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections. The department identified him as the latest person to die at the facility, which one report said was the seventh death there in about a month. The department has not said what caused his death. KOLR 10 Investigates, citing earlier reporting, said he overdosed on about three times the lethal limit of fentanyl.
