Delberia Alcorn, 34, was held at the Henry County Jail in Henry County, Virginia. The Henry County Sheriff's Office said she attempted suicide by hanging herself with a bedsheet on the afternoon of Friday, April 10, 2020, and that she was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Authorities said she died of her injuries there on Monday, April 13, and her death is under investigation with her body sent for autopsy.
