Debra Ercolano
Debra Ercolano, 55, was a woman whose family in New Jersey was notified after her death. She told a corrections officer at the Duval County Jail in Jacksonville, Florida, that she was not feeling well, and her condition worsened as officers went to carry out a legal process with her. Fire Rescue took her to UF Health, where she was pronounced dead on June 20, 2016. An earlier news report listed an overdose as the cause, but Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Director Tom Hackney's office said the manner of death is pending and the investigation is ongoing.
