David Wayne Mills
David Wayne Mills, 55, of Acworth, died at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in Cherokee County, Georgia, on the night of September 30, 2019. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said he died by suicide in a holding cell and that no one else was in the cell with him. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating, as it does with in-custody deaths, and was awaiting autopsy results.
