David Wayne Jones
David Wayne Jones, 45, of Crawfordsville, died on November 16, 2019, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been held at the Montgomery County Jail, where a physical confrontation with at least one other person in a cell pod on October 14 led to him being taken to a hospital and released from jail custody. He was later transferred to Eskenazi Hospital, where he died. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating, has not released a cause of death, and one account lists the cause as assault, which no official cause has confirmed.
