David Shane Polin
David Shane Polin, 31, was held at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem when he died in 2007. The state says he was killed in the prison's activities area by other men held there, who it says suspected he had told prison officials about their drug use. The state reports that his skull was crushed and that he had 84 stab wounds.
