David Reese

David Reese was 16 years old when he died in a fire at the Lycoming County Prison in Pennsylvania in the early morning of November 18, 1975. He was held in the prison's juvenile detention section with two other teenagers when the fire broke out. Dr. Earl R. Miller, the county coroner, said David was found in a shower stall and died of smoke inhalation.

Cause of death, as reported: Died in an accident. The county coroner, Dr. Earl R. Miller, said David Reese died of smoke inhalation from a fire that broke out in the juvenile quarters of the prison.
