David Nicely
David Nicely, of Ligonier Township in Westmoreland County, was one of two brothers whom the Daily American reported were hanged at the old Somerset County Jail, which had a double gallows. The article names his brother as Joseph and gives no date for the hanging. It also says the two brothers had escaped from the jail together and were later caught.
