David Moreno
David Moreno, 38, was held at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, California, when he died on November 22, 2023. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he was stabbed multiple times in a fight with two other people held there. The department said staff used chemical agents to stop the fight, and that he was pronounced dead at an outside medical facility. The prison and the Kern County District Attorney's Office are investigating the death as a homicide, and the Kern County Coroner will determine the official cause of death.
