David Garner
David Garner, 25, died on August 9, 2023, while held at the Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a detention officer arriving with food found him unconscious in his cell, and he was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said evidence in the cell suggested possible narcotics, but the cause of death was still awaiting an autopsy. The Texas Rangers are conducting an independent investigation.
