David Alan Paradise
David Alan Paradise, 35, was held at Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Wallkill, New York, when he was found hanging in his cell on the evening of October 14, 2010. He was pronounced dead on the way to a hospital in Newburgh. New York State Department of Correctional Services officials said he hanged himself with a shoelace and used a bed sheet to block staff's view of him. The officials said the circumstances are still under investigation.
