Dave Herman
Dave Herman, a 78-year-old former New York rock radio disc jockey who was a defining voice at WNEW-FM from 1972 to 1998, died in May 2014 while held at the Essex County Jail in Newark, New Jersey, awaiting trial. His attorney, Mark Agnifilo, said he appeared to have suffered an aneurysm of a major blood vessel near the heart after complaining of chest pains and being taken to hospital from the jail.
