Daryl Pugh
Daryl Pugh, 40, died on March 26, 2022, while held at the Solano County Justice Center Detention Facility in Fairfield, California. Two sources with knowledge of the jail told The Vallejo Sun that his death appeared to be an opioid overdose, one of a rash of such overdoses inside the jail. The sheriff's office has not given a cause of death and did not respond to requests for comment. Reporting says an officer found him unresponsive during a safety check and he was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later.
