Daryl L. Perkins
Daryl L. Perkins, 55, died in August 2019 after a deputy shot him in a holding area inside a courthouse in Vermilion County, Illinois. According to WAND, as cited by Corrections1, the deputy was opening Perkins's cell door to move him between holding cells when the shooting happened.
