Darrion Williams
Darrion Williams, 24, died in November 2025 while held at the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center in Jefferson County, Arkansas. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says he was stabbed during an altercation involving several people held at the jail. His mother, Debra Rogers, says the family is still left with questions and that not a day has passed without pain, and family and friends gathered outside the jail to release balloons in his memory. An attorney representing the families says preventable deaths have happened at the jail for years and calls for accountability, while the sheriff's office says investigators have identified suspects, and the cause of the altercation has not been determined.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says Darrion Williams was stabbed with foreign objects during a fight among detainees at the jail, and that staff tried lifesaving measures before he died.
Reported by: Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (the agency that held him). The only account of how this person died comes from the agency that held him.
