Darrin Houston

Darrin Houston, 55, was held at the Estelle Unit, a Texas state prison, and was taken to Hospital Galveston on April 14, 2020, with shortness of breath and symptoms like COVID-19, according to KBTX News 3. He tested positive for the virus and died at the hospital on April 18 after two days in critical condition. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice lists COVID-19 as the cause of death, and preliminary autopsy results were reported to support that finding.
