Died in jail or a lockup
Darrell Wayne Crowder
Darrell Crowder, 33, died on June 12, 2025, while held at South Central Regional Jail in Charleston, West Virginia. The West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation said staff found him during routine checks. The division and the West Virginia State Police are investigating, and no cause of death has been released. The division's Criminal Investigation Division is also handling the inquiry.
