Daniel Morgan
Daniel Morgan, 38, of Greenville, South Carolina, died at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, Georgia, in March 2026. Staff found him unresponsive in an isolation cell, and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office said detention staff began a medical response before he was pronounced dead. The Richmond County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead, and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the circumstances, and no cause or manner of death has been officially established.
