Daniel Leonard Whitley
Daniel Leonard Whitley died in the Twiggs County jail in Georgia on October 11, 2023. The Twiggs County Sheriff's Department said deputies found him having an apparent medical emergency in his cell that morning. Coroner Harold Reece pronounced him dead at 10 a.m. and attributed the death to natural causes. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted the sheriff's office with its investigation.
