Daniel King
Daniel King, 46, of Clearlake, died on January 2, 2021, while held at the Hill Road Correctional Facility in Lake County, California. According to a news release from Lt. Corey Paulich of the Lake County Sheriff's Office, he was found unresponsive in his cell late on a Saturday night, and his cellmates called for help. Paramedics were unable to revive him. The sheriff's office said there were no signs of trauma and that COVID-19 was not a factor, but the cause of death is not yet known and an autopsy was planned, with the district attorney's office and the sheriff's Major Crimes Unit investigating. One account says he had recently received advanced care from a local medical provider for a medical issue.
