Daniel Everett
Daniel Everett was 74 years old and, because of chronic medical conditions, lived in the infirmary at Staton Correctional Facility in Elmore, Alabama. In mid-June 2020 he tested positive for COVID-19 after contact with another patient in the infirmary. As his health worsened he was moved to a hospital on June 22, and he died there on June 30. The Alabama Department of Corrections said he had multiple advanced and chronic conditions and reported his death as related to COVID-19.
