Daniel Edwards
Daniel Edwards, 56, died in his cell at the Midland County Jail in Michigan on August 24, 2024. Sheriff Myron Greene said in a press release that Edwards appeared to have strangled himself with an item he had made into a ligature, and that he showed no signs of mental health struggles or suicidal thoughts. The sheriff's office said staff found him unresponsive at about 4:45 p.m. Michigan State Police are investigating, and the medical examiner's report was still pending as of November 2024.
