Daniel Carrillo, 27, died at a hospital on March 5, 2018, after being held at the Nueces County Jail in Texas. A Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman, Sgt. Nathan Brandley, said a supervisor ordered officers to stun him, after which they found him unresponsive. The Texas Rangers are investigating, and the cause and manner of death are pending the autopsy report from the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office.
