Dana Leyland
Dana Leyland, 39, died by suicide in April 2023 while held in solitary confinement at the Intake Service Center of the Adult Correctional Institutions in Rhode Island. His family's federal lawsuit, filed with ACLU cooperating lawyers, says he was in withdrawal from substance use disorder and had told staff he intended to kill himself.
