Dana L. McGranahan
Dana L. McGranahan, 43, died on November 8, 2023, while held at the Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard, Washington. The Kitsap Daily News reported, citing the Kitsap County medical examiner's office, that she died hours before she was due to be released and that the cause was acute combined fentanyl and methamphetamine intoxication. The Kitsap Sun reported that the medical examiner had not yet determined the cause or manner of death, pending toxicology results and further investigation. Corrections officers found her unresponsive in her cell during a walk-through, and the Daily News reported that she had said she was going to take a nap.
