Dan Evans

Dan Evans was one of six men hanged together at Fort Smith, Arkansas, as the Fort Worth Daily Gazette reported in September 1887. Executioner George Maledon later recalled the hanging, and the Grenada Sentinel printed his account in November 1887 without giving the date of the execution. The reports name Evans among the six men executed together at Fort Smith.
