Damon Adams, 27, died on October 15, 2017, while held at the Kit Carson County Jail in Colorado. According to Kit Carson County Sheriff Tom Ridnour, deputies found him unresponsive in his cell around 7 a.m., and he was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The sheriff asked the district attorney to conduct a formal investigation into the death, and no cause or manner of death has been stated publicly.
