Curtis Windom
Curtis Windom, 59, was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Raiford on August 28, 2025, and was pronounced dead at 6:17 p.m. His daughter, other family members and advocates opposed the execution, and a family statement said they had forgiven him. His daughter Curtisia did not attend because he did not want her or her four children to witness his death, and his godbrother Andre Walker said Windom had 'adopted' him and that for 26 years nobody had said anything bad about him. Protesters on both sides gathered outside the prison that evening.
