Curtis Williams
Curtis Williams, a 43-year-old Black man, was held at Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton, Alabama, when he died on April 19, 2020. According to the Equal Justice Initiative, citing multiple reports it received, he was stabbed in a prison dormitory and taken to a hospital, where he was taken off life support and died.
