Craig Weeks, 58, died on October 29, 2021, at a hospital after being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center. The jail said he attempted suicide in his cell on October 28 and that he was found unresponsive there. The jail's release said staff checked on him several times beforehand and that he was seen on camera at his cell window 49 minutes before staff were alerted.
