Craig Haynes
Craig Haynes, 49, was on work release from the Community Correctional Center-Lincoln and worked at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel at 808 R Street in Lincoln. Police said they found him unconscious at the hotel on Saturday afternoon, July 27, 2019, along with another man, and Lincoln Fire and Rescue medics could not save him. Lincoln police and the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said he and the other man appeared to have overdosed, and the cause is awaiting autopsy results.
Cause of death, as reported: Died of an overdose. Lincoln police believe Craig Haynes overdosed in a hotel where he worked on work release, and the autopsy results were still pending.
