Cordero M. Hill
Cordero M. Hill, 31, died on July 5, 2026, after a medical emergency while held at the Whiting Police Department jail in Whiting, Indiana. He was pronounced dead at a hospital emergency room in East Chicago. The Lake County Coroner's Office said the cause and manner of death are pending, and Whiting police said the incident is under review and asked the Lake County Sheriff's Department to lead an independent investigation.
