Connors

San Miguel County, New Mexico

According to the Las Vegas Morning Gazette, Connors was held under guard in Las Vegas, New Mexico, after being brought back there following a manhunt. The paper reported in June 1881 that a mob took him from the guards during the night and hanged him.

Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. The Las Vegas Morning Gazette reports that a mob took Connors from the guards holding him and hanged him.
