Colton Hall
Colton Eugene Hall, 32, was held at Easterling Correctional Facility in Alabama. The Alabama Department of Corrections said he was attacked by another prisoner in his dormitory on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, and died of his injuries at a hospital. The department said it had confirmed the death as a homicide and is investigating. One account says Hall had survived an earlier stabbing at the same prison in May 2021 that required emergency hospitalization.
