Cody Kitchens
Cody Lee Kitchens, 32, was from Ragland, Alabama. Early on the morning of Wednesday, February 21, 2018, a corrections officer found him hanging from his bunk at the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City. The county coroner said it appeared he had taken his own life, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency led the investigation.
Cause of death, as reported: Died by suicide. Assistant Sheriff Billy J. Murray and St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell say he hanged himself in his jail cell.
