Clint Waatti
Clint Waatti, a 47-year-old man from Michigan who worked for a private trucking company, died in January 2023 while held at the Etowah County jail in Gadsden, Alabama. The Etowah County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive during an overnight security check. His family describes him as strong and healthy, and his sister Dawn Waatti and his parents, Paul and Denise Waatti, have been trying to learn what happened to him. Preliminary autopsy information did not determine a cause of death, and toxicology results were still pending, according to the reports. A Marshall County Sheriff's Office investigation was said to be continuing.
