Clara Palmer
Clara Palmer, 39, died in custody at the Cobb County Jail in Georgia in December 2024. Her sisters remember her as loyal, funny, and full of energy, an artist who could draw anything, who loved family and babies, and who read her Bible. The sheriff's office says deputies found her unresponsive in her cell and that she was pronounced dead at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Her family says they were not notified in time to see her and is demanding answers. The Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet determined the cause of death, and the death remains under investigation.
