Cierra Chesnee, 26, of Gaffney, died at the Cherokee County Detention Center in South Carolina on March 6, 2022. According to the coroner, officers found her when they went to deliver her dinner tray. The Cherokee County Sheriff, Steve Mueller, said her death was a suicide, and the State Law Enforcement Division and the coroner are investigating, with an autopsy to be performed.
